Following the legacy of innovation, Meyer developed and brought to the market LD poles as a steel alternative to transmission class wood poles. The standard designs and high-strength material used in the fabrication of our Light Duty steel poles insures confidence through the stability and reliability associated with steel. Though typically half the weight of wood poles, the strength of steel coupled with an optimized line design make it possible to extend spans. These longer spans allow for a reduction in the number of poles, insulators, hardware, and associated cost of construction.

LD poles also offer continued savings, with reduced maintenance costs and a longer pole life. Environmentally friendly and recyclable, our LD poles come in a galvanized finish or self-weathering steel. And, because they are readily available, our LD poles offer you the quickest turn-around time in the industry.
